Where do babies come from? This is one of the questions that millions of school children asking their parents. Sometimes it's the adults present a brief state of panic and the urge to call for service spouse.
Some are just the stork story time with the stick or the history of laying and the other begin their story with "Once upon a time, a man and a woman loved each other ...". These children were later with friends, discussing their little brothers come from different sources. Acame from an egg, one was dropped by the stork and one was unsure about the words that his mommy said.
Child psychologists say that lying to your children may show that you are someone who lies about sexuality when they eventually find out the truth. Parents shouldn't also say delaying replies such as "I'll tell you when you get older". Children with such an age are relying on their parents for information and parents should be responsible to grab that duty to reply to their questions, no matter how silly and numerous they are.
So how do reply to this question? The ideal answer is the truth. Instead of focusing on the question "where", get to the point and tell your child the answer to "how". But before you go on your answer, try asking the child of his or her opinion. Then give a simple answer. You don't have to go to the details about the body parts and the whole reproduction because obviously it may not be an appropriate discussion especially for very young children. Tell them that children raised in a special place as the mother's uterus.
Of course the child will begin with another batch of questions. This is a natural for a very young again, his world. Do not bother safe, bombarded with questions, but the child is looking for the right answers. If the child comes to detailed with your question as "What is a uterus?" or "How to get the baby's father in the womb?". Do not panic on this issue.Try to answer the question by starting off with the story of the sperm cells meeting with the egg cell. Usually, preschool children gets satisfied with such answer, but some others would ask where the sperm cell and the egg cell came from. Just get to the basics and choose the words that will match your child's age.
